About the Raga
Raga Bhairavi is one of the most widely performed ragas of Hindustani classical music. Its basic form uses komal Re, Ga, Dha and Ni and is traditionally associated with the morning. It is also extensively used in thumri and other light-classical forms, where performers may introduce additional swaras according to the melodic treatment.
